Avengers 4 Endgame trailer released: Iron Man, Captain America prepare for fight of their lives, and death

'Hey, Miss Potts. If you find this recording, don't feel bad about this,' Tony says, slumped in a space ship. Tony and Nebula had been stranded on the planet Titan at the end of the last film, after Thanos 'killed' half the universe's population with a snap of his fingers. The action then cuts to Earth, where Black Widow, Bruce Banner and Steve Rogers are discussing their plans. 'Thanos did exactly what he said he was going to do,' we hear Natasha say. 'He wiped out 50% of all living creatures.' The surviving Avengers are seen contemplating the future, with Bruce looking into Scott Lang - it has been rumoured that Ant-Man will enter the Quantum Realm in an effort to save the 'dead' heroes - and Natasha travelling to Japan to recruit Hawkeye, who has taken on the mantle of Ronin. Avengers Endgame: Hawkeye fans can rest easy. Clint Barton makes a return. 'We lost all of us,' we hear Captain America can be heard saying. 'We lost friends, we lost family, we lost a part of ourselves. This is the fight of our lives.' The trailer then immediately cuts to the title: Avengers: Endgame. This was one of two titles that were being floated around the internet in the months leading up to the trailer's release. The other was Avengers: Annihilation. Endgame was mistakenly revealed as a contender by the film's cinematographer, Trent Opaloch, who listed it on his resume on his website. Avengers Endgame: Steve Rogers in a still from the trailer. A short stinger at the end shows Scott knocking on the Avengers' base, presumably to offer his help in the mission. 'Hi,' he says on the CCTV, 'We met a few years ago, at the airport in Germany.' Marvel president Kevin Feige had previously told IGN that keeping the title a secret had 'backfired' on them. Avengers: Endgame has been scheduled for an April, 2019 release. According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, the film will serve as a conclusion to this phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film will feature Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo, among others. Dailyhunthttps://about.me/eddymorgan

Yellow vest protesters clash with police in France

Large groups of people spilled into other areas and heading to eastern Paris, where a march against climate change was scheduled for the afternoon. Some also temporarily blocked the ring road circling central Paris."We took the train for 11 hours just to protest today. We feel scorned by these technocrats that govern us," said Gilles Noblet, a demonstrator from the southwest region of Ariege. Prime Minister Edouard Philippe appealed for restraint."We will do all we can so that today can be a day without violence, so that the dialogue that we started this week can continue in the best possible circumstances," he said on French television. On Tuesday, Philippe announced the government was suspending planned increases to fuel taxes for at least six months to help defuse weeks of protests, the first U-turn by Macron since he came to power 18 months ago. About 89,000 police were deployed across France on Saturday, some 8,000 of them in Paris. "We have prepared a robust response," interior minister Christophe Castaner told online news site Brut. He called on peaceful protesters not to get mixed up with "hooligans"."The troublemakers can only be effective when they disguise themselves as yellow vests. Violence is never a good way to get what you want. Now is the time for discussion," he said."We have come here for a peaceful march, not to smash things. We want equality, we want to live, not survive," said Guillaume Le Grac, 28, who works in a slaughterhouse in the town of Guingamp in Britanny.Protesters, using social media, have billed the weekend as "Act IV" in a dramatic challenge to Macron and his policies.Much of Paris looked like a ghost town, with museums, department stores closed on what should have been a festive pre-Christmas shopping day. Many shops were boarded up to avoid looting and street furniture and construction site materials have been removed to prevent them from being used as projectiles. Tourists were few and residents were advised to stay at home if at all possible. Dozens of streets were closed to traffic, while the Eiffel Tower and world-famous museums such as the Musee d'Orsay, the Centre Pompidou and the Louvre were shut. 1677696 Dailyhunthttp://www.chaipaai.com/author/eddymorgaan/

'Crazy, wrecking ball, dangerous': US Senators blast Saudi Prince over Khashoggi

Members of the Senate's Committee on Foreign Relations did not mince words after the briefing by CIA Director Gina Haspel on Tuesday. "There is not a smoking gun - there is a smoking saw," Graham said, referring to Khashoggi's alleged dismemberment in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October. The senator said he could not support Saudi Arabia's involvement in the war in Yemen or arms sales to the Saudi government as long as the crown prince remained in power. Senator Bob Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat, echoed those views. He said the US must "send a clear and unequivocal message that such actions are not acceptable in the world's stage". Another senator, Bob Corker, told reporters, using the crown prince's initials: "I have zero question on my mind that the crown prince MBS ordered the killing." The Tennessee Republican added: "If he was in front of a jury, he would be convicted in 30 minutes. Guilty." Corker suggested that US President Donald Trump had condoned the murder of a journalist by refusing to condemn the Saudi crown prince. Fellow Republican Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama said: "Now the question is, how do you separate the Saudi crown prince and his group from the nation?" The Senate is planning to vote on a proposal to end US military support to the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen, after members of both parties advanced the resolution last week. Senator Chris Murphy, who was not privy to Tuesday's briefing, criticised the Trump administration. "Not everything needs to be secret," the Connecticut Democrat tweeted. "If our government knows that Saudi leaders were involved in the murder of a US resident, why shouldn't the public know this?" The CIA has concluded Mohammed bin Salman "probably ordered" the killing of Khashoggi. The spy agency has evidence he exchanged messages with Saud al-Qahtani, who allegedly oversaw the Saudi reporter's murder. The CIA director -- who has reportedly heard an audio recording of the murder -- did not attend a recent congressional briefing by cabinet members, dismaying lawmakers. The White House denied having a hand in Haspel's conspicuous absence, and the CIA said no one had told Haspel not to attend. At last week's hearing, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defence Secretary James Mattis told senators there was no direct evidence of the crown prince's involvement in Khashoggi's death. Trump has said the CIA findings on the crown prince were not conclusive. On November 20, he said: "It could very well be that the crown prince had knowledge of this tragic event - maybe he did and maybe he didn't." ... Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana: 'Where will I get the money for a cylinder'? asks beneficiary

We use it sometimes but for a few months it has been lying there." Prodded further, she responded: "Where will I get the money from (to refill the cylinder)? We generally pick firewood from nearby areas and sell it. This fetches us less than Rs 7,000 a month. How can I spend Rs 900-1,000 on a cylinder?" Ramoli got an LPG connection about a year ago under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and for some time stopped using firewood for cooking. But she is back to cooking food with firewood or dung. Her story is repeated in the nearby Goras village. A gas stove lies at a corner of Rama's house with heaps of utensils on it, obviously out of disuse, while a weather-beaten LPG cylinder stands in the courtyard. "We use it (cooking gas) only when we are in a hurry to cook because of guests. We use it mainly for making tea and snacks," she said. Maan Singh, another villager, explained why they find it more convenient to cook using firewood instead of LPG. "We visit nearby forests to pick herbs and firewood and make a living out of it. The firewood we pick for selling is also used for cooking, this doesn't cost us anything," he said. Sheopur was brought in the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana map about a year ago. Inhabited mostly by the Sahariya tribe, Sheopur is one of the country's 250 most backward districts. Pawan Soni, general secretary of the Federation of LPG Distributors of India, admitted that many beneficiaries had not refilled their LPG cylinders. Dailyhunthttps://justpaste.it/3ngfj

Hockey World Cup:Raising toast to French success

But the same rivalry on a hockey pitch evoked only sneers. Until Thursday, that it. They demolished Argentina to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. 'Before coming here, whenever we talked about the World Cup with friends in France, their first reaction used to be 'are you talking about the football World Cup?'. For people back home, only one World Cup exists, and that was held in Russia this year. They have reasons to remember the 2018 World Cup; France won the title. So, you can well understand where hockey figures in France with barely a thousand people playing the sport,' said Fabienne van Straaten, the mother of twins, Pieter and Niels. Pieter is part of the French hockey team, while Niels is in the reserves. The Fabienne couple is in Bhubaneswar for the World Cup. France will play China in the 'crossover' on December 10, for a berth in the quarter-finals. French skipper Victor Charlet has 100 international caps but had to struggle to tell people that hockey also exists in France. 'When I tell friends I play hockey, they either steer away from conversation or make faces as if they are clueless. Sometimes they come up with weird queries like 'Do you play with sticks and a small ball? Why do you play with the small ball? What's the ball made of? Is it a chicken ball?' I hope with our performance here, we can get some respect for our sport in the football-crazy country,' said Victor. France's journey to Bhubaneswar started in New Delhi in 2013, when they competed in the junior World Cup. It was the first time France won a hockey medal --- silver --- at the world level, losing to Germany. 'More than half-a-dozen players from the 2013 batch are part of the current team. That medal gave us confidence,' said Pieter, a member of the 2013 junior World Cup squad. 'Our aim now is to be among the top-10 in the world and after that we are eyeing something big in the 2024 Paris Olympics. That would be the turning point for hockey in France,' said coach Jeroen Delmee. France doesn't have a professional hockey structure. There are a few clubs and most top players play club hockey in Belgium or Holland. The current bunch of 20 --- 18-member squad and two reserves --- has eight students pursuing degrees in medicine, law, music and gardening architecture, among others. 'You can't depend on hockey for a livelihood in France. There are a couple of players making a living by playing club hockey in Belgium,' said Pieter. Because of logistic issues and limited funding, France had two World Cup training camps running simultaneously in Paris and Brussels. For three weeks, they trained at their respective venues and then in the fourth week converged at Lille on the northern tip of France bordering Belgium for a joint camp. 'About 12-13 players trained in Belgium and the rest in Paris. In the fourth week of every month, we travelled to Lille for combined training,' said Gaspard Baumgarten. 'Lille has a special place in our hearts,' added Pieter. Three players playing for France are Belgian, while one is Dutch, but since one of their parents is French, they enjoy dual citizenship, making them eligible to play for France. Charles Manson, Nicolas Dumont and Maximilien Branicki have dual nationality with Belgium, while Pieters' dual nationality is with Holland. Dailyhunthttp://www.pearltrees.com/greekfranchise
