They urged Marvel fans and viewers to not spoil the film for others before its release on April 26. 'When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don't spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn't want it spoiled for you,' the statement read. Soon after the statement was shared by the directors, many of the official Marvel superhero Twitter accounts, including Captain America, Black Panther and Captain Marvel also shared the statement, adding '#DontSpoilTheEndgame'. It seems like the message was well received by the fans, as the hashtag is now trending on social media. ... function catchException() {try{ twitterJSDidLoad(); }catch(e){}} function getAndroidVersion(ua) {ua = (ua || navigator.userAgent).toLowerCase(); var match = ua.match(/android\\s([0-9\\.]*)/);return match ? match[1] : false;}; var versions='4.2.2'; var versionArray=versions.split(',');var currentAndroidVersion=getAndroidVersion();if(versionArray.indexOf(currentAndroidVersion)!=-1){var blocks = document.getElementsByTagName('blockquote'); for(var i = 0; i < blocks.length; i++){blocks[i].innerHTML = '';}}DailyhuntDisclaimer: This story is auto-aggregated by a computer program and has not been created or edited by Dailyhunt. WWE RAW results: Dean Ambrose bids farewell, The Undertaker chokeslams Elias
'The Lunatic' lauded his Shield teammate Rollins for smashing Brock Lesnar's head in the ring to reclaim the WWE Universal title. He also praised Roman for battling Leukemia and returning to the RAW. 'One of the sweetest sights that I have ever seen as a guy who has busted his ass for this company, for this locker room, who has dragged his broken dead body through every highway and through every single building all across this country and the world, right alongside my brothers, my best friends — the sweetest sight I ever saw was Seth Rollins stomping Brock Lesnar's big, dumb lunchbox head into the mat, pinning him, and holding that Universal championship over his head, and taking it back to the boys. One of the other sweetest things I've ever seen was just recently when we saw Roman Reigns kick the shit out of cancer and come back on Monday Night Raw,' the former WWE champion said. He also commented on Arn Anderson, who had earlier referred The Shield as 'two indie schmucks and a football player.' 'I love this building. I know most of you probably aren't even from New York City, I know you came here from all over the world. I love this building, I love the Barclays Center. We opened up the Barclays Center - the very first ever WWE show, the very first PPV, TLC whatever year that was. I'm getting very old, I can't remember. Our first WWE match on PPV, TLC, we got thrown to the wolves. Arn Anderson called us 'two indie schmucks and a football player,' he added. The 33-year-old superstar also stated that winning the tag team championship with Rollins at SummerSlam at this venue was his favourite match. 'But like Seth said, we walked down that aisle, we tore it up and we took our spots. I have a lot of great memories in this building. That match is probably my favorite match I ever had. Winning the tag team championship with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam right here in this ring, in this building.' 'But here's the thing you've got to remember. A building is just a building. It's just brick and mortar. It's just wood and nails. What makes the building is the fans. And there are no fans in the world like you, the fans who come from all over the world to be here all WrestleMania week, to come to Axxess, to come to all the different shows and to stay for, to sit through three freakin' hours of Monday Night Raw, and sit here and be here tonight to listen to us guys talk, so - without you, there isn't any us,' he signed off. In other events at the Monday Night RAW: The main event between the newly crowned WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins was rescheduled as a tag team match against THE BAR (Cesaro & Sheamus). Despite having an early advantage the contest was eventually won by the pair of Kofi and Rollins. It seemed Elias invited trouble for himself when he announced the next man to interrupt him would be a 'dead man'. Just as he finished his trash-talk, The Undertaker emerged to the ringside and confronted the guitarist. The Deadman made a mark by throwing a boot to the Elias' face and then went on to execute a Chokeslam and Tombstone on the superstar. Necessary evils, too, are evil in game-changer election
Bangalore city civil court issued a blanket order banning 49 media outlets from publishing anything "defamatory" against BJP candidate Tejasvi Surya. This was the first instance of a prior restraint order against a class of persons. And it happened at election time. Legal circles were quick to argue that the order was unconstitutional. Beyond that, the idea that a candidate should ask for a gag order against the media raised suspicions. Public curiosity led to reports that there were allegations of misconduct against Surya. The end result was that the gag order drew attention to a questionable aspect of Surya's persona as much as to the sidelining of the spirit of democracy by the court. While Surya wants to stop the world from talking about him, he wants full freedom to say what he pleases. In a public statement a week ago, he said: "If you are not with Modi, you are anti-India." Should courts stop the media, and the public, from reacting to such an anti-India statement? Our election rules make it obligatory for candidates to disclose the number of criminal cases, if any, against them. In such an environment, are not allegations against a candidate a matter of public interest? It is clear that Surya was given a privilege he did not deserve. The "interim order" will come up for review only when the case is taken up for hearing again, which conveniently is on May 27, after the counting of votes will be over. Who is fooling whom? Surya is BJP's candidate in the Bangalore South constituency, which had elected H N Ananth Kumar six times in a row. In the first election after Ananth Kumar's untimely death, his wife Tejaswini was a natural choice for the BJP, not merely because she was his widow but because, in her own right, she was an activist NGO leader supported by the entire state leadership of the BJP. But the BJP's destiny makers in Delhi picked Surya for reasons only they know. Local BJP leaders were unhappy and came round only after schoolmaster Amit Shah used his cane stick to discipline his boys. Given Surya's unpopularity among local BJP leaders, he would have lost. But the Congress came to his rescue by putting up its most unwinnable candidate, Hari Prasad, in Bangalore South. The stars are on BJP's side. That explains, also, why big leaders violate Election Commission rules and the EC takes only naam-ke-wastey actions. Kalyan Singh, the Governor of a state, publicly asks people to vote for BJP. The EC brings it to the notice of the President of India. Adityanath, a chief minister, refers to the Indian Army as "Modiji ki sena". Initially, only UP's Chief Electoral Officer seeks a report from the District Electoral Officer. The EC sends a notice to Air India for issuing boarding passes with Modi's pictures on them. Air India does not even reply, and the EC "conveys its displeasure" to Air India's chairman. The EC "pulls up" the railways for using paper cups with Modi propaganda on them, but the railways take their own time to withdraw the cups. The game is clear. The BJP uses India's state machinery for party propaganda in ways that have never happened before and ignoring the fact that necessary evils, too, are evil. All that the EC does is to go through the motions of action. Those who are asked to explain know that the EC is under the same compulsions as they are. This is an unfamiliar India becoming all too familiar. In the process, unheard-of things are happening. A TV channel starts broadcasting without getting the permits the law stipulates. NaMo TV is not on the list of channels permitted by the I&B ministry. Its ownership is unknown. Yet it broadcasts on a government-sponsored channel and is backed by government advertisements. Belatedly, the EC asked the I&B ministry for an explanation-like all the other explanations it asked for in all the other irregularities. We could have found solace in the old saying: This too will pass. Except that we can't be sure, alas. Congress's recipe for separatism
From being a self-declared party for all Indians, the Congress, under Rahul Gandhi, has shrunk to representing the left-radical fringe, better known as the "Tukde Tukde Gang". This gang is essentially a cartel which functions in urban and rural settings, within the confines of universities and in jungles and repeatedly calls for overthrowing the Indian state, for junking Parliament and aims at the balkanisation of India. The Congress party's just-released manifesto is, in fact, a recipe for separatism. It is a document which proposes to dilute our national security apparatus, protect those who call for India's disintegration and makes it easier for terrorists to get away with acts of terror with impunity. It is laughable to see the Congress-a party which had refused to provide political sanction to retaliation after the Mumbai terror attack-promise to strengthen India's national security. By promising to bring the office of the National Security Advisor (NSA) under the purview of Parliament, by promising to repeal suo moto the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA), which will most adversely affect our soldiers in their fight against terrorism, by asserting that it will withdraw the army from Kashmir, by emphasising that it will repeal the sedition law, the Congress has, if not anything else, displayed its unwavering commitment to the balkanisation of India and to the dilution of our collective will-firmed up and best expressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last five years-to fight terror, to safeguard our borders, to protect our sovereignty and freedom. Rahul Gandhi and his manifesto speak for the "Azaadi" to break India, and not for the "freedom" to preserve, protect and lead India to new heights. One had hoped that with Lieutenant General Deependra Singh Hooda as his security advisor, Rahul Gandhi would have better sense of India's national security exigencies. Rahul's decision to flee to Wayanad is the other indication that the Congress is now taking on the mantle of the Muslim League. Rahul's decision to stand from Wayanad, a minority-dominated seat, is an acceptance by the Congress that, through its "Hindu Terror" narrative, it has heaped calumny on Hindus, has demonised them in order to consolidate its vote-bank through appeasement politics. It is now unable to face the Hindu electorate. On the other hand, the CPI(M), most of whose leaders have metamorphosed into Congress spokespersons instead of continuing to be party ideologues, was shocked by this opportunism. The fate of the "mighty" "Modi Hatao" front suddenly seemed uncertain. The most articulate exponent of Rahul's political philosophy began fumbling. This crass communal move by the Congress has unnerved it. What is more disturbing is that the Congress has elicited support of the SDPI, the political front of the rabidly Islamist Popular Front of India. Both the SDPI and the PFI have been under scanner of investigative agencies for arms stockpiling and political killings. It was the SDPI which had in 2014 objected to Vande Mataram being sung in schools in Kerala and had pressurised a number of them to stop the practice. While Modi speaks of a "New India" in which denominational discrimination is passé, Rahul weaves a narrative that harks back to Jinnahism and the politics of partition. Can India afford such regression? Film on Tibet refugees settled in India to premiere at TIFF
That Toronto boasts of a sizeable Tibetan diaspora bolsters its attraction as a venue for the screening. A still from the film, The Sweet Requiem, which will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. (TIFF) The film is mainly in the Tibetan language, and set largely within the community settled in Delhi. Its fulcrum is 26-year-old Dolkar and her life as a refugee, counterpointed with flashbacks to the perilous journey she undertook as a child, along with her father, leaving her mother and sister behind, to flee Tibet and find sanctuary elsewhere. TIFF's artistic director Cameron Bailey said, 'You see the period in India and the nuances of the social milieu there and the story of leaving as well. It's quite a powerful story and I think they're doing something quite remarkable.' The film's protagonist is played by newcomer Tenzin Dolker, who had no prior acting experience but carries the movie with a subtle but potent performance. As Sarin pointed out, there is no film industry in exile. 'Finding the right character to play Dolkar was crucial. She did a little audition and we realised she had the potential,' Sonam explained about the choice. A still from the film, The Sweet Requiem, which will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. (TIFF) Obviously, the filmmakers couldn't shoot in Tibet, given how politically charged their project was, though the sense of oppression is conveyed through off-camera vignettes, from phone conversations to videos of self-immolations watched on a phone. Instead, Ladakh substituted for the rugged landscape of Tibet. Sarin said filming there was 'quite difficult', given the altitude of about 15,000 feet. But they were also fortunate: Snow was required for certain scenes and after eight years, there was sufficient snowfall to meet their requirement. Another challenge is that of China flexing its muscles in the film world, as they experienced in the past. In 2010, as they had a film at the Palm Springs Film Festival, the Chinese yanked two productions in retaliation. That makes the selection at TIFF particularly meaningful, as Sonam said, 'So, the question for festivals would be: Is it worth showing one exile Tibetan film that comes along once every few years if that might mean upsetting the Chinese authorities and losing access to Chinese films?' For now though, this moving story will be told at TIFF. And the filmmakers are hopeful of taking it to a larger audience, including one in India. Sonam said, 'We would love our film to be widely shown. After more than 60 years, most people have no idea what their (the exiled community's) lives are about.' Azlan Shah Cup: An outrageous, over the head lob
In the semifinals of the 2018 women's hockey World Cup, Spain's Lola Riera did something similar against Ireland's Ayeisha McFerran.

Few variations: Since the penalty rules were revised in 2011 and shootouts turned into a one-on-one situation between the goalkeeper and the attacker — similar to ice hockey — there have been few variations. Tried and tested: The most preferred route for an attacker is to enter the 'D', take a couple of steps to the goalkeeper's right, draw him closer before turning into the other direction and aim for the opposite corner. This has been a safer option for two reasons—the quick change in direction often leads to the goalkeeper losing his balance, thus giving the striker additional space. The goalkeeper, too, is forced to bend a little more because the stick is held in the other hand. Some players have tried to confuse the goalkeeper by dribbling the ball at a high speed before pushing it in. But not many have been able to pull it off as it requires a high level of ball control. function catchException() {try{ twitterJSDidLoad(); }catch(e){}} function getAndroidVersion(ua) {ua = (ua || navigator.userAgent).toLowerCase(); var match = ua.match(/android\\s([0-9\\.]*)/);return match ? match[1] : false;}; var versions='4.2.2'; var versionArray=versions.split(',');var currentAndroidVersion=getAndroidVersion();if(versionArray.indexOf(currentAndroidVersion)!=-1){var blocks = document.getElementsByTagName('blockquote'); for(var i = 0; i < blocks.length; i++){blocks[i].innerHTML = '';}}DailyhuntDisclaimer: This story is auto-aggregated by a computer program and has not been created or edited by Dailyhunt.
