Cargo handling at Kakinada's deep water port and anchorage port have been suspended and ships anchored in safe places. The East Godavari administration rescued two fishing boats and 13 fishermen. Seven fishermen of Parlopet in Kakinada had ventured into the sea on December 11 and were stranded while returning home.
