Bengaluru: Rowdy attacks cops during arrest, shot at

Around 2 am, the police received credible information that Gautham and his friends were in RMC Yard and rushed to the spot. Gautham noticed the police approaching him and immediately attacked two constables, Shivakumar and Bajanthri with a long machete. The inspector opened fire in the air to warn him to surrender and later shot at his leg when he tried to flee. The two constables have sustained injuries and were rushed to the Victoria Hospital, where they are being treated. Gautham was also taken to the Victoria Hospital.
