Rajahmundry: Awareness drive held for girls on hygiene

He advised them to use sanitary napkins during the menstrual periods rather than soiled clothes that could cause infection. Use of medicines to stop menstrual periods would affect their health, he cautioned and asked them to consult a doctor in case they experience heavy bleeding. He advised the girls not to dump used napkins in toilets and avoid environmental problems in residential areas and further advised them to learn more about it.
