Kaliabor MP Gaurav Gogoi has written to Union home minister Amit Shah seeking "justice" for retired army officer Mohhamed Sanaullah, who has been declared foreigner by a foreigners tribunal here.Gaurav, in his letter on Wednesday, expressed "concern" over putting Sanaullah in a detention camp inside a jail in lower Assam's Goalpara district after the tribunal's order and said Sanaullah's long service in the armed forces is proof of his patriotism and citizenship.Gaurav said he "sincerely" wanted Sanaullah's "relief"."Many media reports indicate the inefficiency of the government officials involved in the incident. I request you to look into the matter and please initiate an inquiry to ensure that they do not continue to perform their duties in this manner," Gogoi said.
