After poor monsoon show, post-monsoon rains also skip Maharashtra
These districts received just 60 per cent of their ordinary rainfall this season, and Solapur remained the driest district within the country, followed by Nandurbar, Beed, Aurangabad ( - 32 in line with cent every), Sangli (- 30 in step with cent) , Jalna and Latur (- 29 in line with cent each). Since October 1, handiest Sangli and Osmanabad districts have reported sparse showers. All different districts have said rainfall deficiencies ranging between 50 to 100 according to cent, marking an nearly dry length. Districts underneath "deficient" category are Pune, Raigad, Sangli, Sindhudurg, the ones underneath "massive deficient" are Solapur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Nashik, and districts that have remained dry throughout this era include complete Vidarbha and maximum districts in Marathwada, along with Parbhani and Nanded.
