4 forts you need to visit in Rajasthan apart from Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace
When setting out to explore this place, remember it would take you the entire morning and afternoon to explore. It has gorgeous entrances and offers spectacular views of the city. The light and sound show which takes place at Amer Fort is certainly worth a watch. By the way, the Hindi show is narrated by Amitabh Bachchan. Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur View this post on Instagram Driving in India in general is insane, but the roads to get here had me like 🙈 A post shared by Liam Tansey (@liam_tansey) on Dec 2, 2018 at 3:18pm PST
Located near the Aravalli hills, Nahargarh Fort provides a spectacular view of Jaipur and its architectural stretch. The beautiful fort was built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The fort also houses Madhavendra Bhavan, a luxurious spot for luxury and it is also surrounded by temples, gardens and exquisite design in terms of architecture with influences from Rajputs, Mughal and European sensibilities. Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur View this post on Instagram Climbing fort walls looking over beautiful small cities was a huge highlight of my India trip ✨ This was my favorite fort (maybe favorite place) in Rajasthan. Recommend getting there just a bit before they close the gates as you can still stay one hour after that and you can admire the stunning sunset views over the blue city of Jodhpur with way less people around you ❣️ A post shared by Marina Lemos 🇧🇷🌍 (@marina_lemos) on Dec 2, 2018 at 1:37pm PST
The Mehrangarh Fort has stunning rooms bedecked with mirrors and various hues. If you are a fan of art or history, you shall certainly appreciate the Mehrangarh Fort. The café inside ensures that you can take a break while exploring it and take time to refresh yourselves. Definitely check out Chamunda Temple inside the fort, from where you can get a magical view of all the blue buildings of Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City. Chittor Fort, Chittorgarh View this post on Instagram Chittaurgarh Fort. The Chittor Fort or Chittorgarh is one of the largest forts in India. It is a World Heritage Site. The fort was the capital of Mewar and is today situated in the Chittorgarh town. It sprawls over a hill 180 m (590.6 ft) in height spread over an area of 280 ha (691.9 acres) above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River. #chittorgarh #fort #rajasthan #india #mewar #architecture #biggest #beautiful #view #nature #click #morning #travel #traveling #travelgram #passionpassport #natgeo #natgeoindia #incredibleindia #trending #instalike #instadaily #art #photography A post shared by Vikram Sharma (@vikramsharma_viki) on May 5, 2017 at 4:21am PDT
Easily one of the biggest forts in Rajasthan, this fort was Mewar's capital at one point of time. Make sure you visit the Padmini Palace and the Meera Temple which are situated within the fort. function getAndroidVersion(ua) {ua = (ua || navigator.userAgent).toLowerCase(); var match = ua.match(/android\\s([0-9\\.]*)/);return match ? match[1] : false;}; var versions='4.2.2'; var versionArray=versions.split(',');var currentAndroidVersion=getAndroidVersion();if(versionArray.indexOf(currentAndroidVersion)!=-1){var blocks = document.getElementsByTagName('blockquote'); for(var i = 0; i < blocks.length; i++){blocks[i].innerHTML = '';}}Dailyhunthttp://www.tripntale.com/profile/129700
